Salmonds’s BIG Achievement Which Will go Down in History

OK, I’ll admit that I am in my dotage years and that I don’t see that my opinion will change anything -but did it ever?

It would be a great shame if I didn’t care- but many older folk don’t; that might be dangerous.

Now to the subject matter – Salmond’s big achievement is that he has managed to do something that no other enemy of ours has achieved for centuries –

To split Great Britain.

More importantly – to split Scotland.

I would question anyone who continues in a self belief that can rally an opinion that causes such a splintering – when you supposedly love that cause. Some reflection should be in order that counteracts self indulgence. Surely the cause must have some overwhelming need.

Whatever the result on Thursday – Scotland appears to be torn in half. What sort of achievement is that?

What’s more – the people of Northern Ireland, Wales and England may well become restless too.

Some are recounting their origins. Camilla (Sunday Times ) says she is 25% English; …..

May I suggest that all this stuff is nonsense. The most important thing is that we are Human Beings. Then, hopefully we want a better world where there is ‘World Harmony’.

All these other tribal feelings have their place, for sure. but can’t they be private cosy thoughts?

Their are some real threats out there where our lives, and those around the world, are already suffering. Do I need to say more?

Surely we need to stick together and settle any differences moderately in a continuing way to advance humanity.
